Misr Financial Investments Company ("MFIC") was established in June 1984 under the relevant Laws especially Law No 43 of 1974 as amended by Law No 32 of 1977, for the purpose of organising, issuing, marketing and underwriting shares of new and existing companies, to issue bonds on behalf of corporations, to market, promote, buy and sell securities and for other related purposes, portfolio management, project evaluation and privatisation.

(2)	MFIC is backed and strongly supported by its shareholders which are themselves some of the
	foremost financial institutions in Egypt. Their shares
	in MFIC's capital (which now stands at EGP40 million) are as follows:

	Bank of Alexandria	17.7%
	Misr Iran Development Bank	17.7%
	Banque du Caire	11.4%
	Misr Insurance Company	12.0%
	Delta International bank	12.0%
	Arab Investment Bank	5.7% ---------
